Our town boasts a river, mill, Cultural District, and wildlife refuge, all within a 5-mile perimeter. 45 minutes west of Boston, Maynard’s downtown features a variety of restaurants, galleries, movie houses, music venues, and a large art collaborative, giving the mill town an urban feel. Our spirit is entrepreneurial, with a diverse population of big city ex-pats, new families, retirees, and an active LGBTQ community.

Take in live music or comedy at Sanctuary Cultural Arts Center, a former church turned into a beautiful events venue.
