Virtuosity, Passion and a Whole Lot of Fun.
The Internaitonal Jewish Music Festival jury described Ezekiel’s Wheels Klezmer Band as “a celebration of true musical democracy. They make you happy to watch them.”
Ezekiel’s Wheels Klezmer Band has been delighting audiences since their first performance in 2009. The Wheel’s unique style was forged in the subway stations and farmers’ markets of Boston. They honed their craft with 90’s pop covers for the morning rush hour and fresh produce on the weekends, building a community of fans and friends across the city.
Their music has been featured on television in the Netherlands and Brazil, on the Boston Jewish Music Festival’s compilation album, and a feature length film, in addition to eight albums. Visit them online at https://ewklezmer.com/
Klezmer music has its origins in Europe and is inspired by both jazz and classical music. At its heart, it is party music, and is often played at weddings and other festive events.
