Join the Friends of the Pollinator Meadow and the Save a Bee Club for an afternoon of art in the garden at the Native Pollinator Celebration!
You will learn about growing native plants locally and the valuable contributions they make to our ecosystem—helping endangered pollinators like monarch butterflies and bumblebees, as well as birds and other beneficial creatures.
We’ll start off with a special tour of the garden at 2:00. Special guest BlueStem Natives—one of the few native plant growers in our area—will show us a variety of local plants to cultivate here in Maynard and help us unveil our new Native Plant ID cards. Children’s activities will begin at 3:00, including a Bug Scavenger Hunt for all ages and a children’s art workshop with ArtSpace artist Joyce Dwyer. We’ll also showcase new Meadow Rocks by Sylvia Guthrie and the Maynard ROCKS! crew. All ages are welcome!

Please note, that this event is outdoors and will be held rain or shine.
